You might recognize some familiar characters from The Wizard of Oz on Cassidy's bed. When I was brainstorming Daydream, I was trying to think of ways to visually differentiate reality from dream sequences. The simplest solution was to render reality in greyscale and the dream in color. I thought that was pretty original — until I remembered that The Wizard of Oz had done the exact same thing. Hence, the homage. You've got to give credit where credit is due, you know? —Stephen
